In short

No ads. No tracking or analytics. Nothing is sold to anyone or shared for advertising. No email, password, phone number, phone contacts or location is asked for or stored. The game does not use your camera, microphone, phone contacts, location or photos.

Your account

The game makes a player account for you the first time you play online. It holds the captain name you pick, an account number, the devices you linked, your friends list and the captains you blocked, and your match records, career stats and achievements. No network address is stored with your account. Your captain name is visible to other players.

Where it lives: on our game server in the United States. Account data travels encrypted; the game traffic of a match does not. Your device’s network address is used while you are connected (it is needed to send you the match) and is not kept with your account.

Sign in with Apple or Google (optional): if you choose it, we keep a keyed code of the anonymous account ID that Apple or Google gives us, so you can bring your captain back on another device. We never ask for or keep your email or your name. For Apple we also keep a sealed sign-in token, only so we can cancel the sign-in with Apple when you unlink it or delete your account. While you sign in on our website it sets one cookie that lasts 10 minutes and holds only a random number, and the answer from Apple or Google is deleted from the website within a day. You can unlink at any time in PROFILE → ACCOUNT.

How long match records stay: your totals stay with your account; single match records older than 31 days are kept only for your newest 50 matches.

Coins and purchases

Coins are bought in the App Store (iPhone, iPad) or on Google Play (Android). The store takes the payment: no card or billing detail, name, email or address reaches the game or our server. What the store itself keeps is in its own policy: Apple, Google.

What we keep of a purchase: the store, its transaction or order number, the coin pack, the coins, whether it was a test purchase, its state and its times; your earned and bought coin balances and a record of every change; the skins you own and the look you wear. With each purchase the store receives a code made from your account (not your name), so the coins reach your captain. For Google Play the purchase token is kept only until the purchase is completed (minutes; days at most).

Why: to give each purchase’s coins exactly once, to take them back when the store refunds it, and to answer you when you write to us.

Who sees it: the look you wear (ship, captain, crew) is seen by everyone in your harbours and matches. Your coins, the skins you own and your purchases: nobody.

Contests

If you join a contest in the game, we record that you joined, when, and under which version of its rules, and from then on we count your wins in it. Your count is kept until 60 days after the contest ends; a winner’s place for as long as that account lives. For the fair-play check we keep which captains were sunk in a counted win, until 60 days after the end. No list of winners is published; a winner’s profile shows a mark.

While an item with an end date is on sale, we keep when you last began a coin purchase, until 60 days after that end, so that a purchase the store confirms late can still count; if it is used, for as long as the account lives.

Leaderboards

Once you have sailed 10 Battle Royales in a season, your captain name and your Battle Royale totals (wins, ships sunk, matches, K/D, Captain Rating and your place) are shown to every player on the leaderboards.

Keeping the rating fair: the server remembers, for each ship you sank and counted this season, a keyed code of that ship’s name, a count and a day. The code is shown to nobody and cannot be read without a key that never leaves the server. It is erased from the live record within a day after the season ends and when you delete your account; backups and the applied match files keep it up to 8 days more, as they keep everything else.

Deleting your account

In the game: PROFILE → ACCOUNT → DELETE ACCOUNT removes your account, name, friends, stats, coins, skins, purchase records and Apple or Google sign-in links at once (we also cancel the sign-in with Apple). If you can no longer open the game, write to info@raydevz.com with your captain name.

What stays for a while: backups that still hold it are gone within 7 days; security and technical records beside the database (account numbers, coin amounts, store order numbers; no names) within 8 days. A coded mark of each store purchase that paid coins stays for as long as the game runs, with no account, amount or time on it, so the same purchase can never pay twice. A deleted contest winner’s place stays, with no account on it, for as long as the game runs. A keyed code of your captain’s name in other captains’ fair-rating records stays until the season closes; it cannot be read back into a name.

Reporting a name

In the game, PROFILE → ACCOUNT → REPORT A NAME, or write to us (Support).

Age

The game is made for players 13 and older. A parent who wants a child’s account removed can write to us.
